I have been using this place since we moved out to Cypress in 2002.... they always do excellent dry cleaning. They have also fixed shoes, alerted dresses and jeans and repaired purses. Excellent service and they never let me down.

Three Times Was Not A CharmI took a favorite pair of cowboy boots for heel (only) replacement. Despite the boots being dark brown with dark brown leather soles the heel replacement leather was left raw and was not been dyed to match the rest of the boot soles. Oddly enough there were brown dye runs across the raw leather eliminating any chance of it being done intentionally to obtain some preferred look.Picked up the boots after the heels were dyed and wore them about once a week for a few weeks before the heel on one boot developed an incredibly loud squeak and started coming off while I was traveling. Had to use a hammer at the hotel to sure up the heel and limp through the rest of my trip.Took the boots back for a 3rd time and when I explained what had happened I was told by a very rude lady in a raised voice"That was last year! We won't warranty!" ...what a crock. They were initially dropped off in Dec, spent 3 weeks at their shop trying to get it right, and here I was in early March listening to them try to pull "this was last year" as an excuse.I refused to take the take the boots back and insisted that the heel be repaired. I received a phone call one week later saying that the boots were ready to be picked up and that the heel had been replaced.Big surprise...same loose heel and the squeak has gotten louder!! So much to the point that I refuse to wear the boots due to all of the comments I receive from anyone within hearing distance of my left boot! Can't be sure, but I honestly do not think anything was done other than maybe to rehammer the nails like I had already done daily on my trip.I absolutely would not recommend taking any shoes here. And due to the nasty reception I received, along with the "that was last year" line, I wouldn't recommend taking anything else here either.Edit: I took these boots to another shoe repair store near 290/6. Store is owned by a very nice man who had my boots back to me within a couple of days. He asked if I wanted them shined and now my 5 year old boots look as close to new as is possible. Also bought new insoles while I was there. No problems ever since.

Always done on time. Consistent quality of work including alterations.
